Charlie Alsmiller
President and CEO

Throughout his career, Charlie Alsmiller has focused on customer problems in difficult industries such as Energy and Telecommunications. Prior to starting SummaTG, Alsmiller was VP of Global Operations for Allegro Development, a leading provider of software for the energy sector. He has also served as president of OmniSpace Technologies, a leading SaaS provider that he founded in 1999. He spent over 10 years in the consulting world with Price Waterhouse and Deloitte Consulting, where he participated in a wide variety of projects for very high profile clients. Mr. Alsmiller holds a BBA from Baylor University in Management and Information Systems and a MBA from the University of Dallas in International Business.

Fasih Hussain
COO

Fasih Hussain joined Summa Technology Group in January 2009. Prior to joining SummaTG, Fasih spent 10 years with Allegro Development, a leading provider of ETRM software, where he held leadership roles in sales and operations. As VP of global business development and marketing Fasih led Allegro through unprecedented growth in revenue, earnings and new client acquisitions at a pace of 100% each year over the last.

Before 2005, Hussain held management roles in pre-sales, operations, consulting and project management, gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of operations. Hussain has also held management positions at several DFW-based start-up technology companies. He holds an MBA in International Business and a BBA in Management Information Systems

Tareque Kazi
Vice President, Technology and Support

Mr. Kazi joined Summa in 2008 as director of development.  Since that time, he has overseen the development of a major release of Summa’s new application architecture and overseen multiple interim releases of the solutions.  Mr. Kazi oversees Summa’s Philippine operation, as well as development and support activities in the U.S.   Prior to Summa, he was with Allegro Development, where he spent over ten years developing mission critical ETRM software for some of the world’s largest energy companies. Mr. Kazi holds MS in Management Information Systems, MBA in General Business and BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Russ Meyer
Director, Energy Consulting

Russ Meyer joined Summa Technology Group in October 2009. Prior to joining SummaTG, he spent 9 years with Allegro Development, a leading provider of ETRM software, where he managed various implementation projects across multiple commodities.   Before the implementation career, Russ wore many hats, including technical writer, automated testing, developer, tester, and customer support.  In each role, Russ outperformed expectations.

Throughout his career, Russ has developed an impeccable record in project successes, across multiple platforms, with many references in the industry.  His hard work and dedication has resulted in many successful ETRM/CTRM implementations.

Brian Eckert
Director, Security Services

Brian W. Eckert, CISSP, CISM has integrated 17 years of security experience with 18 years of management experience to become a Certified Information Security Leader with broad consulting, strategic, operational, technical and leadership experience. His areas of expertise include: security consulting, strategic planning, security management, vulnerability management, policy creation, firewall management, operational leadership, program management, risk mitigation, security engineering, intrusion detection, and anti-virus management. Before joining Summa Technology Group as the Director of Security Services, Brian’s positions include Director of Security Operations and Investigations for Expedia, Inc., Director of Information Security for Hotels.com, Senior Manager, IT Risk Management with Cingular Wireless (Now AT&T), Security Project Manager for National Data Center Operations, Senior Security Consultant of Ernst & Young LLP, and an Information Security Specialist for AT&T Wireless Services. Brian also served as a Captain in the US Army National Guard.
